Plate Carrier Update 2024

Updated: Dec 1, 2025

This video goes over my plate carrier and its accessories.

all right hey what's up guys so

today let's talk about play carriers now uh when it comes to play carriers I think

0:15

there is a kind of a divide um when it comes to how you set them up and stuff

0:21

some people are on the side of throw all the things on it and and make it look like the guy that looks cool or whatever

0:28

and then there is the side of of hey um I just need this so that's what I'm

0:33

going to put on it and then once I figure out what I like I kind of just keep keep with that

0:42

theme whatever so um whichever side you're on I I would

0:48

uh I would kind of look at hey what what is it that you need on your stuff more

0:53

so then hey that guy has cool stuff but it doesn't hurt to look at other people's equipment hence why I'm doing

1:00

this so you guys can get ideas uh on how to set certain things up especially if you're trying to carry a certain item or

1:06

if you're trying to uh accomplish a certain thing now um I'll go through my

1:11

philosophy as as I like uh kind of go through these two play carriers but they're relatively the same um one is

1:18

multicam one is green one is from a different manufacturer than the other and but they both satisfy the same uh I

1:25

guess you can call it plate carrier need now there is a third uh plate carrier

1:30

that I use uh pretty often and it is my low viz plate carrier if you want to see that one go to my low viz series on

1:36

YouTube and you can kind of see that and get get a gist of what I want out of that thing but it's very versatile and

1:42

it's something that I really like because I can it's a slick carrier that I can throw anything on top of so when

1:49

going with these two these aren't slick carriers although they can be slimed down pretty easily both of them can be

1:56

um I mean you could take the pouches off the sides you could put more lower low profile uh cumber buns on them and you

2:03

could throw the take the placards off and pretty much have a slick carrier um they're just not not meant for Low Pro

2:09

uh or low um visibility type of operations or anything like that so when when looking

2:17

at these two think of them as more direct action or law enforcement e uh

2:22

because that's the way I kind of look at both of these Phil philosophically the way I see uh either of these carriers

2:28

being used is in a direct action method or like hey I'm I'm doing missions on

2:34

specific targets uh and I may be walking towards the targets but I'm not doing long sustainment stuff we'll get to that

2:41

kind of series later on and um and I'm not doing anything that's uh specific outside of like a law enforcement SWAT

2:48

team kind of uh category if you want to call it that so look at these two as

2:53

that and that's kind of how I set them up it's around that kind of uh uh area where I used to work as a ranger that

3:00

was my job was more direct action and then or you look at like how I teach now

3:05

with a lot of law enforcement and I look at them and kind of try to gear towards that kind of specific civilian side of

3:11

things or civilian esque so when looking at these uh like I said both very

3:17

similar because I like my carrier setup like I like my carrier setup so when looking at the the more direct action uh

3:26

side of things or or even the the law enforcement SWAT Style uh or SRT style things um you're looking to be more

3:33

slick right because there's no need to be uh over cumbered by a bunch of stuff and you're usually taking a a vehicle of

3:40

some sort whether it's a flying one a a floating one or a wheeled one uh to work

3:45

so when you go to your your uh office to work uh you don't need a lot of stuff

3:53

like I don't need to bring you know humongous pack with tons of snacky poos and sleeping stuff and things like that

3:59

no need so the way I look at these is more of a slick or or a Slicker side of

4:04

things versus a thicker side of things and what what I usually get to or what I

4:09

like looking for is um everything on the carrier having multi-purpose if possible

4:15

Right have have more purposes for each of the items and then also uh having them fit my needs so for example when I

4:23

look at a law enforcement side of things uh I have the need for obviously ammo

4:28

Medical um sometimes a prying or a breaching tool of some sort a light

4:34

source and then things to feed those things so and there's obviously little ins and outs that we'll get to when we

4:41

we go through the carrier but uh if you've seen any of my previous ones there's small adjustments that have been

4:47

made over the years because I've found what I actually like and what I'm using for those kind of things versus uh

4:54

constantly changing things drastically I don't I don't usually have drastic change uh per say so when we look at

5:02

these uh just kind of like look at them with hey a mind of getting ideas not a

5:08

mind in straight up copying things okay so just something to think about now

5:13

we'll go through my main uh this is kind of my main Jam that's what I usually use and then my secondary main Jam which is

5:19

a feroc Concepts one so the first one which is a defense mechanisms carrier uh

5:25

I've had it for a long time this is their I think this was their V2 or version to the one they the the second

5:31

one I I got from the previous model that they gave me a long time ago um from one

5:37

one of the first ones they made so with this one um as you can see it hasn't

5:42

changed a lot in the perspective that you probably saw from previous videos if you saw that but we'll we'll get into it

5:49

either way and kind of I kind of discuss certain things that are um new to the video or new to the new to the video new

5:56

to the play carrier so first thing right when it comes to it uh placard systems

6:01

is what I like using for play carriers um I I I personally like using them a lot now if for some reason you uh you

6:09

cannot buy multiple placards or you're like hey man I'm I I only have one thing

6:15

or maybe you're on the side of like I have a billion things maybe a placard system would work for you if you're

6:20

willing to like uh set up multiple placards that can be easily removed and

6:26

put on for another setup or something like that rock on man um but if you're a

6:31

onetick pony uh so let's say you're just an assaulter and that's all you do then

6:37

a placard may be perfect or a placard may be too too much modularity for what you're trying to accomplish so for

6:44

example if let's say sometimes you're a sniper and sometimes you're an assaulter and sometimes you kind of do other

6:50

things a placard may be really useful because I can rip this off put on a placard for my sniper setup and then rip

6:57

this off and put on my placard for what ever else other jobs you may have um or rip it off and not put a placard on and

7:04

keep it slick like kind of I like options like that so um if that's the case like let's say

7:11

you you use a subgun every once in a while and you need to put a subgun placard on here go for it right so those

7:16

are the things kind of you have to discuss with yourself and figure out for yourself as to what you need but when it

7:22

comes to it I I actually enjoy a placard system um for more of a direct action

7:27

play carrier but once once again you have to look at what you're trying to accomplish in the long run um if you're

7:34

looking at this in uh more of like a hey I'm trying to do more uh long long range

7:41

patrolling kind of thing and you're trying to then place a plate carrier inside your bag that may not be useful

7:48

because you may grab a slick play carrier right use a chess rig with a pack and then end up getting to where

7:54

you go pull the plate carrier out put it underneath your or take off your chest rig put the play carrier on put the

8:00

chest rig on and then now you can actually do direct action stuff with the same setup and a very minor amount of

8:06

things that are thrown into your uh Ru so things to think about things for further videos but just want you guys

8:13

kind of boiling through different ideas on how to set these things up now furthermore when it comes down to uh how

8:20

I go through the play carrier stuff is uh I I go into from a placard it's like

8:26

I I want the initial things that I'm going to need the most important thing on the front end uh I don't like keeping

8:31

important stuff on my back it's not something I want to rely on somebody else to grab for me in case there isn't somebody or I have to actually talk or

8:39

say something louder than nothing to have somebody get that for me so I I

8:44

prefer uh all the important stuff being on the front so if you look at both of these carriers all the important stuff

8:50

is on the front right so from bullets to Medical to a certain extent right mostly

8:56

just shears and a tourniquet on the front end um I do use a small Fanny on

9:01

this one but I I have one of their roll ones on the front end also so there's a fanny on top of a roll one I really like

9:08

that option The Fanny for this one I use for like random things so extra equipment snacky poos things like that

9:15

and then Medical on this one is actually underneath the the actual uh plate on my

9:22

side it's one of the the pull through ones and I'll show you guys that in a little bit so I have ammo

9:30

the the starting of medical and then I also have a pring tool on this end so this is the prying tool most people ask

9:37

me about so this is a Winkler it's their uh little evacuation tool for like act

9:43

like being on on a vehicles uh I think air-based vehicles but it works really

9:49

well for prying smaller doors or interior stuff um not really something I'm going to use for something big like

9:55

a front door or like anything uh large but it can work work uh I've seen it

10:00

work so it it's a really useful tool um I've actually pulled it out at car accidents before to smash uh windows and

10:08

do other things to help people out but on the front end like I said mags right

10:14

once again I don't want them to just be one trick ponies usually if I can get something out of them so with a MAG pod

10:20

if you guys have never seen one of these uh like where you've been but uh magp pods are really useful some people say

10:27

they're useless on concrete I say they haven't probably shot on concrete with them um because it still provides me

10:33

more stability than it does just the back of the mag or the bottom of the mag on a standard mag uh base plate now

10:41

something else that uh I keep on the front is a flashlight on this on this

10:46

setup on that one I don't care about a flashlight and we'll talk about that in a little bit but I keep a flashlight so here's a good old mod light just uh

10:53

shoved in here I like having a handheld on my kit uh for like if you're doing

10:59

more law enforcement based stuff it's something to think about just realize your button needs to be something that's shrouded so it doesn't get activated by

11:06

accident just sit there on um or give away your position in some way so I like having like a button that has like some

11:13

ridges around it the modlight offers that so it's kind of nice um on the

11:19

front end like I said tourniquet and some form of shears I like having shears on the front end I've used them to cut

11:26

all sorts of stuff not just medical based things but just hey 550 cord hey whatever uh so I'll cut anything with

11:33

them I'm not afraid to use my shears because if they get dulled I just go ahead and and get rid of them get new

11:38

set they're not expensive um on the front also I like and I started playing with this this

11:44

year was putting some form of elastic style like um mag pouches to to like

11:53

because that's what they are but like I use them for random things so if I pick something up and I want to shove it in there I can if I want to grab an extra

12:00

mag or extra three mags I can like it gives me uh an ability to plus up a little bit if I needed to for whatever

12:06

reason so or just I get extra stuff that I may need to use um maybe I get a secondary radio or something like that

12:13

not that I would want to put it there but that that offers me a bunch of options um going along to my right side

12:20

on this thing all I have is a kife that I've had for a really long time this

12:26

one's from variant 1 they make nice knives but uh like this one was given to me at a photo shoot and it's been

12:33

[ __ ] phenomenal their V2 of this one is actually really nice it actually uses like G10 scales instead of just having

12:40

550 cord wrapped around it uh cuz originally this was just plain Jane metal um I also have to tape around the

12:46

ring to this one because it does scratch the hell out of bare fingers but it's meant to be used with an actual gloves

12:53

so not a big deal if you're wearing gloves but something to be aware of then along the side I have one of the axle uh

13:01

or Axl whatever you want to call them uh cumber buns I like their rigid cumber

13:06

bun it's really good it also has Velcro on the inside which I can use for um

13:13

side armor so I can throw side armor on with Ferro Concepts makes a side armor pouch that is just velcro and I really

13:20

like it because I can put on each of these carriers I don't have to have two sets of armor I can literally take those

13:26

side plates and put them on either one whenever I feel feel like it so uh because the inside is velcro based and

13:32

that was one of my goals with it was sometimes I don't want it sometimes I do want it and I want to be able to place it for further forward or further

13:39

sideways whatever I want I have the versatility to do that because of the cumber bun um if you're Comber bun

13:45

doesn't offer that and it just mollies in it it kind of not that it's impossible to take it out or anything

13:51

it's just more hassle so this one velcro's in and velcro's off and I may put some b-roll in showing that in a

13:57

little bit so so that's the the right side nothing pretty plain Jane because

14:03

obviously handgun stuff and other things that I may be using um sometimes that's the case and I also kind of like once

14:10

again I like being as slick as possible if I possibly can now on the left side that's where it starts to get thicker

14:16

right with two C's or three uh so on this side after the flashlight um which

14:22

is in one of the little uh I believe this is from Shaw Concepts I believe

14:27

it's Shaw their little pistol pouch or admin little little multi-tool pouch or whatever that's what it's in actually on

14:34

the side of this placard that's on the front which is one of the spirus ones and on this side I actually have a few

14:41

different things that are kind of different so let me pull this bad boy off so usually a side that I don't open

14:48

up I don't open up my left side all that much I come in and out of my PL carrier from the right um personal preference

14:54

you can you know flip it over your head if you want and all that jazz but I I like coming into it one-sided so that I

15:00

could keep one side completely shut down but I do keep the quick release on here so same cumber bun on the left side

15:07

which is an Axl um I do use a spirus radio pouch that also keeps one of the

15:14

the these quick releases from um first spear the tube releases it keeps that

15:20

right there on the actual pouch for the the radio which is underneath my placard

15:26

and allows me to go ahead and connect this back boy right on there or disconnect it if I needed

15:32

to so makes uh life a little bit easier Sometimes some people don't like those things I actually do like them um

15:39

depending on the circumstance sometimes I like it to be just elastic sometimes I like it to be a quick release so I have

15:45

another quick release on this one as well in this first pouch I kind of use it administratively but right now I

15:53

have a small uh hinge tool for the hinge of

15:59

your door it was given to me by one of my friends thanks Canada uh and he gave it to me for like use of that stuff to

16:06

check it out firefighters use these things all the time um some people carry wedges some people carry like some of

16:12

those other uh types this one folds up really nice so you could put a couple of them in your pouch or in a pouch and

16:18

have the ability to jam doors especially ones that retract a lot so kind of useful but once again more of like a

16:25

SWAT setup here versus a an or direct action setup not like a long-term

16:31

sustainment thing so radio I like uh radio pouches that will accept a bunch of different radios because I use a

16:36

bunch of different radios I own three different types and most people uh if I go work with them in some way hand me a

16:43

radio or I get issued one for my job so at that point I need to put a radio in

16:48

here and I I don't like being stuck to one radio size or having to pull this

16:53

thing off and put another one on or something like that so I like a radio pouch that'll accept a bunch and it's

16:59

not only for that I could throw mags in that pouch or do other things if I needed to uh same with this one I could

17:04

throw mag in there or do other things with it if I needed to once again I like multiple or or versatile objects on my

17:11

kit not really specific ones and then lastly is a GP pouch now this is the

17:16

medium GP pouch from uh spirus spirus makes a lot of stuff I like so it works out which is funny because I have pharoh

17:22

up here defense mechanism spirius uh axle and some Shaw like I like

17:28

everybody's stuff man it's it's cool to mix and match and as as somebody that's not attached to anybody specifically

17:34

you're welcome to mix and match man do so so over here on this pouch I do have

17:40

a slight um addition to it which is some Shock cord that goes around uh that way

17:45

I can compress it so it's not super floppy and it's when it's not full and stuff so the shock cord does help a lot

17:51

it's something to think think about but in here nothing too crazy most of the

17:56

time I have some kind of mask right I like a a neck Gator that I can pull all the way up cover my face uh depending on

18:03

who I'm working with I want to be um obscured if possible I have some kind of snacky in here cuz you got to have

18:10

snacks um I have some kind of Illumination device that I could use as a buzz saw so I use a v light for this

18:16

that way it's smaller than a chem light uh even though I may have chem lights on me I don't use a full chem light for

18:21

that and they come with this little tiny cordage that you could use and make yourself a good old Buzz saw with it so

18:28

really useful I like it and uh because it's so small it doesn't it doesn't take

18:34

up much and because it's velcro backed I can stick it inside there and I always know where it is so I kind of like that

18:40

about it um in here with also velcro in is a good old cutter for uh zip ties if

18:49

you use zip ties a lot that's something to be like kind of like looked at um if

18:54

you want to you can use your shears and things like that but if you have an actual cutter it kind of makes sense uh at least in my opinion to use it um and

19:01

once again I put a little Velcro on it so it sticks on the inside of the pouch then we have a battery holder right from

19:08

theum it's one of their cell vaults I just keep it in here now I used to keep it on the outside of my carrier and I

19:14

just kept popping it open uh just with my arms or my kit or my gun or whatever

19:19

so I started keeping it inside the pouch I also have a baggie in here that

19:25

uh has an extra battery for one of my uh radios I use the most I have a disuss if

19:32

you've never seen one of those or I mean some people call it other things but I call it disuss because that's what it says um from disco 32 uh really useful

19:40

and then I have a spare battery that doesn't fit in that battery holder for my handheld so waterproofed I like

19:46

having things waterproofed if needed sometimes I'll have the boom mic uh sorry boom mic and the Down lead for my

19:53

headset uh in here as well but it just depends on circumstances most of the time I I don't even worry about it too

20:00

much and then uh I do have lastly for like emergency

20:06

purposes a lighter I mean it seems kind of weird but I I like having a lighter in here if needed um it's it's actually

20:14

come useful for for cutting or burning things and setting 550 cord stuff and

20:19

things like that so I guess that's the the Ranger and me can't can't not have a lighter on me um so then in the front of

20:29

this pouch right so let me get that cord out of the way in the front of this pouch there's that little zippered

20:35

pocket and in here is pretty simple nothing crazy just an ssse bag so it's a

20:41

small rollup baggie that cry Precision made um but it's really thin and it

20:47

allows you I think it's probably like some form of rip stop but really really thin really nice and it's and it's so

20:54

small you can kind of put it almost anywhere but I keep it in there for like an S bag or whatever so up to you on on

21:01

how you you set those things up um and then on here I always keep my zippers forward so I can kind of reach them cuz

21:08

I can get in that bag myself uh as long as the zippers are forward and then I like to tighten it up or cinch it and

21:14

then put the the excess shock cord in the back here so that it it's all nice and tidy so that's what's on my left

21:21

side man nothing crazy so lastly talk about the back plate bag um I don't

21:28

weave on uh back panels uh I don't like to but I do have a couple back panels so

21:34

I have uh zippered um or zippers for them to to attach quicker and things

21:40

like that so I can detach them um I don't like using back panels all that much I'm more of a a little assault pack

21:45

kind of guy but uh but everybody's slightly different every mission may be different so I like the option having it

21:51

and because I have a couple back panels why not uh cuz of trying them out and sometimes I go back and forth uh just to

21:57

ReDiscover that I don't like them or go back um I'm not one to just stick to one way I'm willing to try different things

22:04

here and there so that was one of the things I did so here from a company called 40 or sorry 8492 nylon they make

22:14

zippered uh adapters for almost I mean any Molly thing for any type of zipper pattern CU you have the Pharaoh zipper

22:21

pattern the cry one and you have the good old um spirus one so depending on

22:26

what back panel you have you're going to need different types zippers and it's kind of nice to have so something to

22:31

think about so if that's what you're what you're looking into and then lastly like I said that medical that I have in

22:41

here which is through it's inside the plate bag and it's not super easy to get to

22:48

but it is something that can this is from focus group they make a really good little medkit that goes inside your

22:54

plate bag obviously you can see it's kind of plate shaped um one once you kind of get it in there and shaped

23:00

properly you can actually like you can kind of live with it sometimes parts of it are Pokey so there's like hard pieces

23:08

in there that'll like poke you so you need to like make sure you set it up properly wiggle things around inside the

23:13

bag or get one that you fill yourself they have a zippered one that you can fill yourself and kind of reorient

23:19

things as you want um that one is one of their sealed ones so it's it's non-zippered or non-refillable

23:25

um so once I use it I'll probably use or get a zippered one but either way

23:31

something to think about uh it's a way of carrying medical separately now a lot of times I like using like a small

23:38

dangler so Ferro Concepts makes their little half dangler thing I really like these this one is full of medical so um

23:46

other than like unlike the other one that's over on this one this one is actually a medical one that I'll keep

23:51

with my my plate carrier so if I want to put it on I can and most of the time if it's not on I just stick it to the back

23:57

so it stay staged so it's always together so that's my defense mechanisms

24:03

carrier nothing too crazy oh forgot the top here so on the top

24:09

zipper I have a couple things right so one is a Lockpick Set one is a vs7 panel

24:17

sealed a lens wipey and there's one other thing oh and then or

24:24

disposable anti-fog lens wipes uh mainly for my night vision and I proo and stuff

24:29

like that so these are mostly for Optics or I could use the other things for Optics too it's not a one trick pony and

24:36

uh Lockpick Set is really useful for those of you that need to deal with that um and then uh probably said this in

24:43

every single uh play carrier video I've ever made but I have foamies up here I like having a set of foies with me these

24:50

were originally made for like chem lights but didn't like hold enough and it was made by one of our fellow Rangers he was just making a bunch of them and

24:57

uh and I was like cool like I don't know what I'm going to use it for but thanks and found that foamies fit in there

25:04

perfectly so when I do explosive breaching I can double plug really quick and uh and there's three slots so I just

25:09

put three foamies in it so nothing crazy it's it's really kind of like a dumb thing it's probably only it's probably

25:16

mostly sentimental at this point cuz it's like a little thing from pack in the past but it's uh it it works well

25:22

and I I tend to use them which is funny so something to think about foamies or like disposable ear Pro that you can

25:28

throw into your uh carrier for when you don't have ear Pro or you lose your ear Pro or you break your ear Pro or

25:35

something like that foies are definitely like the way to go with a lot of stuff uh they help out a lot and you can use

25:42

more expensive ones like the Shire ones or whatever but that's what I use now over here right so Ferro Concepts plate

25:48

carrier um you guys have probably seen uh like I did a photo shoot for Pharaoh

25:54

while back and uh and used their carrier for a whole week straight in and out of the water and on boats on helicopters

26:01

all this stuff it was really fun but their carrier was really comfy man it works really well it does the job it

26:07

it's really like No Frills in certain places but also gives you enough usability for a bunch of stuff so um on

26:15

mine I I have it pretty set up uh slick is right so on the right side almost

26:21

nothing except for just the cumber bun on the front is just the important stuff knife medical bullets uh I also have

26:28

this placard uh dang I forgot where I got it from oh parachuter gear uh

26:34

parachuter gear they make a placard like this that has three mag slots and has

26:39

the the uh elastic already sewn on it so kind of different from the spiritus one

26:44

so I gave it a try it's actually really nice I like it um something to pay attention to or look at uh if that's

26:50

what you're looking for it's all in one instead of having to buy a Blue Force Gear thing and the spirus thing um but

26:57

kind of similar set set up than as this one just different mags and these are actually like some of my gwat mags which

27:03

is kind of cool uh but going further uh we have a a fanny that I use a small

27:10

thin one or dangler really that is unfilled empty and because sometimes I

27:16

like throwing snackies or other things in there uh or other Mission like critical equipment that I may need so I

27:23

use it more like a general purpose pouch on this carrier and then underneath it is a rule one so if you've never seen

27:29

the phoh concepts roll one uh it essentially You Pull and you get your medical out on either end it's a really

27:35

nice concept and it all comes out in this like burrito and you can open the burrito and you have all your stuff so

27:41

it's it's kind of nice um and then to put it in you have to open up your shock cord slide it the back in and I'll do

27:49

that after uh you got to really like wiggle it in so you guys know what I mean and so from

27:57

there um and then they're both stacked underneath each other which I really like so one is on the front of the plate

28:03

bag or and then the other one is on the the inside of the plate like plate carrier plate bag Jesus

28:11

so uh coming to the the left side here right we do have another flash Alo um

28:19

sometimes I leave it on here sometimes I rip it off it's just in a defense mechanisms uh little I forgot what they

28:24

call them like wings so it's just a velcro piece that that can go on underneath the placard really useful

28:31

once again another mod light there so I don't activate it act accidentally so it's it's kind of like more shrouded

28:36

than most of the other lights uh cloud makes those little rings that screw into their lights which is really useful the

28:42

tallest one would do the same thing um then going out I I have it really slick

28:48

so once again the velcro on the inside allows me to stick whatever I want including plate bags or other other

28:54

placards on there with like radio pouches and things like that um the radio pouch I use on this one every once

28:59

in a while is pretty much the same as that one just velcro's in I just have it in a drawer right now CU I don't leave

29:05

it on there and then I have a small GP pouch on here so small meaning cuz I'm

29:11

trying to keep it as slick as possible and I keep it relatively empty so sometimes I'll move things that I use

29:16

from this one onto this one if I'm going to use this carrier for anything important uh but mostly this is like a a

29:22

training carrier that I use the majority of the time I I barely wear this one as

29:28

much as I worn this one this one's been like my main Jam for years uh and then up here I have a Axl like pocket so I

29:35

can shove the same pocket litter that I have in there and here so a lot of times

29:40

I switch sorry wrong side um a lot of times I try to put all the stuff that I have in this carrier onto this one when

29:47

I'm using this one and then I transfer it back just based off of what I'm doing but it's just another example of a

29:52

carrier and multicam which you'll you barely see me in um because I don't I don't wear a l lot of multi cam but um

30:00

the only thing that's not Pharaoh other than the placard and the light holder is

30:05

the shoulder straps so I use core performances shoulder straps on here I like their straps more uh like the

30:12

padding so it's kind of nice on thinner straps like this um I've thought about

30:17

getting the Ferro ones that are a little B padded but haven't gotten there so I've been using these and I really like

30:23

them so I'm just sticking with what it's nice or what's working nice uh but we'll see and then the uh last thing that's

30:30

kind of like to throw into this one that I I've been thinking about is is different other accessory pouches like I

30:36

do on this one so I may get something like that for it but it's not really a priority it's it's already done on one

30:43

so if I needed it I'll throw it on this one or I'll use something different so just another example of a play carrier

30:49

setup especially on the front end or on the bottom end of how it changes based on medical and uh like general purpose

30:56

stuff but it gives you example and Pharaoh makes great stuff so I use their stuff uh obviously you can see I use

31:03

spiritist defense mechanisms and Shaw and you know all these different companies so once again trying to fit

31:11

the needs that I have for my play carrier so whenever whenever trying to choose a play carrier man like the the

31:17

base one it's kind of like choose what you like and if they have zipper things

31:22

on the back like you see most of the the bigger companies like Pharaoh they have theirs already sewn in cry has their

31:28

sewn in spir has their sewn in if you get one that's neither right and it just has Molly on the back you can put in

31:35

whatever you want sorry you put in whatever you want with some adapters that people make and you can kind of get

31:42

away with a lot of different stuff and find out what you need out of that but I would go with straight up base base

31:48

level stuff hey I need some things to feed my gun I need some medical stuff and then I need to make sure I have any

31:54

tertiary things that I want from there then build it out further from that and I would just caution you uh of putting

32:03

too much cuz I have seen that in different variety of locations where people go and put way too much on and

32:09

then they can't fit through doorways or small spaces or anything like that and then give her some some time to like get

32:16

used to it too so with play carriers I would OB I would obviously say go practice with it like go

32:22

shooting you could probably shake out the majority of stuff at home with

32:27

drrive practice you dry practice for a little bit with your rifle your pistol and stuff like that with your play carrier on and and yeah people would say

32:35

it's laring but I would also argue that everything is laring when you're training um but from there you'll you'll

32:42

also gather a little bit more knowledge about what you need to move like where's your sling hanging up on what is making

32:48

too much noise things like that that you can start to remove or tape down or zip tie or whatever uh to make work for your

32:55

needs but I if you're not picking out what you need first and then adding from there you're going to start finding that

33:01

you're you're just going to overload yourself for no reason uh you obviously don't need a lot of stuff unless you

33:08

need a lot of stuff so make sure you're paying attention to what you're carrying and not hurting yourself man it's not

33:13

worth it so hope this helps guys if you have any questions put them below I'll try and get to them as soon as I can um

33:19

sorry for the little small Hiatus I had uh I was dealing with two hurricanes and a lot of work stuff in between so videos

33:26

are going to start coming out um regularly again so hope this helps guys take care
