The new (at the time of this video) Steiner Atlas Laser aiming module (LAM). Here is my experience working with Steiner on the project and the out come.
It's set back so I can reach it. Irons aren't relevant to me anymore.

Sick unit! As soon as they figure out a way to offer a way to have vis override on the remote port regardless of whatever IR mode you are on, I'm in. You mentioned you like the raid XE visor? I guess the tension on mine is bad or something. After a mag or 2, it starts to droop and eventually obscures my pointer. If they were to do that visor, I'd think it should hinge down like the weak cover you have so you aren't fighting gravity.

Because you installed it without the side screws that fit into the tracks/detents, which incidentally do not actually fit properly, lol! Run the rubber.
Why is it set back? Front sight? Will a folding FS fit without causing glare/other issues?

Never knew about loading a turret. Intersting.
Thanks for the overview! I was excited to see this at ORD and would love to get my hands on one
Great all encompassing review. Hopefully the civilian version is one of the top performers so the little people can have nice stuff as well.
